KINDTROL D3 is Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 60000 IU Softgels. Cholecalciferol is a Vitamin D3. KINDTROL D3 is used to treat calcium deficiency (hypocalcemia) and metabolic bone disease (renal osteosytrophy) in people who are receiving dialysis. KINDTROL D3 is also used to treat in people who have chronic kidney failure and are not receiving dialysis.

MODE OF ACTION:
Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) is a provitamin. The active metabolite, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (calcitriol), stimulates calcium and phosphate absorption from the small intestine, promotes secretion of calcium from bone to blood. Vitamin D3 also encourages the kidneys to recycle phosphate back into the blood, which helps the blood stay at the right pH.
INDICATIONS
KINDTROL is indicated in Hypocalcemia, Maintain calcium homeostasis, In management of renal osteodystrophy, To treat metabolic bone disease & to Manage the secondary hyperparathyroidism.
DOSAGE
1 soft gel in a week.
