SODAKINDLE DS is Sodium Bicarbonate 1000 mg Tablets. Sodium bicarbonate is an alkalinizing agent (antacid) that reduces stomach acid. Sodium bicarbonate is a commonly used antacid to treat metabolic acidosis, heartburn, acid ingestion, upset stomach, certain drug intoxications and replacing bicarbonate lost due to severe diarrhea. Sodium bicarbonate tablets control the progression of kidney disease.

Sodium Bicarbonate Tablet USP 1000 mg
MODE OF ACTION:
Dissociates to provide bicarbonate ion which neutralizes hydrogen ion concentration and raises blood and urinary pH.
INDICATIONS
Sodakindle is indicated in Metabolic Acidosis, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Urinary Alkalinization, Severe Diarrhea, Blood Volume Restoration In Shock, Severe Primary Lactic Acidosis, It is also used in Relieving Indigestion, Heartburn, Sour stomach, or Upset Stomach, Dyspepsia, Hyperkalemia, Asystole.
DOSAGE
Moderate metabolic acidosis: 325 to 2000 mg orally 1 to 4 times a day.
