TOXIPHAGE is prebiotic & probiotic capsules. Probiotics are the organisms which when administered in adequate amounts confer health benefits. Probiotics helps in removing uremic toxins from the body. Prebiotics act as nourishment to probiotics and are non-digestible foods that make their way through digestive system and help good bacteria grow and flourish.

MODE OF ACTION:

Both probiotics and prebiotics are thought to work largely through direct or indirect effects on the gut microbiota and environment and/or on host function. This large number of microbes has the potential for a greater impact in the upper GI tract where lower densities of micro-organisms are found, but is also thought to impact the colon. Prebiotics enhance the growth of the endogenous microbiota or possibly stimulate the growth of probiotics when provided concurrently. Thus, probiotics and prebiotics share many common mechanisms of action mediated through an impact of microbes on the host.

INDICATIONS

TOXIPHAGE Reduces uremic toxins, p-cresyl sulphate (PCS) and indoxyl sulphate (IS). It Impede the processes associated with CVD and CKD progression, used in reduction in CVD markers, used as prophylaxis of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, in acute infectious diarrhoea, Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), in prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections, Hepatic Encephalopathy, to boost Immune Response, in type 2 diabetes mellitus, in eradication of Helicobacter pylori & in prevention of systemic infections

DOSAGE

1-3 Capsules per day depends on the indication. As directed by the doctor.
