REPOMIA is recombinant human erythropoietin alpha (rHuEPO). Erythropoietin is a glycoprotein, which stimulates red blood cell (Erythropoiesis) production. It is produced in the kidney and stimulates the division and differentiation of committed erythroid progenitors in the bone marrow. Erythropoietin stimulates erythropoiesis in anemic patients with chronic renal failure in whom the endogenous production of erythropoietin is impaired.
ISOPOINT-IV contains Iron (III) Isomaltoside 1000 solution for injection/infusion. ISOPOINT-IV is a complex of iron and carbohydrate moiety where the iron is tightly bound in a matrix of Fe (III) atoms and isomaltoside pentamers closely resembling the structure of ferritin which enables a controlled, slow release of bioavailable iron to the iron-binding proteins, with potentially a reduced risk of free iron toxicity. ISOPOINT IV injection is used to treat iron deficiency anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) including those who are undergoing dialysis (hemodialysis or peritoneal) and those who do not require dialysis.
CARBINJECT contains Ferric Carboxymaltose Solution for Injection 50mg/ml in 2 ml & 10 ml vials. It should be administered via IV injection or infusion only. CARBINJECT is indicated as an iron replacement therapy used to treat iron deficiency anemia in children and adults with intolerance or inadequate clinical response to oral iron, and in adult patients who have non-dialysis & dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease.
